Tooth-Extraction

I got one tooth pulled... It wasn't as bad as I imagined, but still intense pressure. I swallowed so much blood without realizing it. Zac was driving me home and I had to make him pull over on the Interstate so I could throw up. Since I'm pregnant, I couldn't be put to sleep, so I was very much aware of everything going on. Scary stuff, bro. My face is fucking swollen.

Francesca's 3rd Birthday

We went to Francesca's birthday party today. Jac had a fun time on the slide, but not so much with Musical Chairs. One little boy threw a temper tantrum over losing, so Jac didn't want to play anymore. He did enjoy Pin the Tail On the Bunny, though. Almost got it on the target, too.

Mall

We made a trip to Baton Rouge to hang out at the Mall of Louisiana. Jac rode the carousel and we bought some chocolates from Godiva... best chocolate ever. Like, ever ever. EVER. Their pumpkin spice truffles are SO GOOD. We ate lunch and I looked for some maternity clothes. So far, nothing I like... but it's winter and they're only selling sweater stuff. I'm hoping before Bean gets here, I'll have some larger shirts at least.

Babysitting

I kept Alina for a little while today while Olga and Sean had a date. Jac loves this baby girl so much it's silly. I keep wondering if maybe he'll have a baby sister or brother. It's good practice. I'm glad she's such a quiet baby.

Teeth

I was homeschooled almost my whole life. I only went to public school for 7th grade. During that time, I realized a lot of kids I was friends with at church weren't my friends in school. Even my next door neighbor was a bully to me. Only one person, Cindy, was kind to me. She spent the night at my house a few times and I remember she made me laugh because her only love was her hairbrush and not the cute boy who lived two houses down from me. She introduced me to Alanis Morissette and Fiona Apple when we spent the day at the lake. Cindy moved after 7th grade, so we lost touch for a decade. Thanks to social media, I found her and she remembered me, so we reconnected. I had a dental appointment today in Covington and Cindy offered to keep Jac for me so he wouldn't be bored. She has a little boy named Miles and he's the same age as Jac, so they played together on the trampoline and Cindy made them some homemade muffins.

I got my teeth cleaned, but I need to get my wisdom teeth pulled still, plus I have a few cavities and they found another hole on a different tooth. Yay (sarcasm). They're going to try to save one of my teeth so my bite won't be uneven. I've got a prescription mouthwash to hopefully reverse the periodontists issue once my teeth are pulled. I just want one long, curvy tooth.

Global Wildlife Center 2008

Zac and I took Jac to the Global Wildlife Center in Hammond. We were able to feed and touch some of the animals. It was so cool. Animals come right up to you and eat from your hand. It was a fun experience.

Little Bean 10w 3d, Jac at the zoo

I saw my sweet little Bean today! Everything is perfect. Growth is normal, heartbeat is strong. I've got a little baby bump now, which is crazy to see since it's still early. It's small, but hard. I ate a million fried pickles for lunch. No regrets!

Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 10 weeks and 3 days.
Size of baby: A kumquat!
Total weight gain/loss: Maybe a pound. Not much at all just yet.
Maternity clothes: None yet, though I'll need some soon.
Gender: Too early to tell.
Sleep: I've been napping with Jac lately.
What I miss: Cigarettes, though I'm going to try to stay off them for good.
Cravings: Vinegar, peanut butter, and spicy foods.
Symptoms: Tired all the time. Hungry most of the time.
Best moment this week: Hearing Bean's heartbeat and seeing him/her moving around.

Jac is with my parents for a few days so I can just sleep. I am having trouble functioning from being so tired. He's having a blast, though. My parents have already taken him to the zoo!
