24 weeks today!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along: 24 weeks.

Size of baby: An ear of corn!

Total weight loss/gain: About 10 pounds.

Maternity clothes: Stretchy bottoms.

Gender: Girl!

Movement: Always.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good.

What I miss: Not much.

Cravings: Sweet and spicy.

Symptoms: Hungry, tired.

Best moment this week: I've been enjoying taking walks.

Out with Jac

I took Jac to the park today. He's been so into nature lately. Everything is "Aushum" to him: rocks, pine cones, leaves, bugs, etc. I'm trying to get as much quality time in with him as I can because it won't be so easy once the baby comes. Today he found a massive pinecone.

Family time

We made a trip to my parents' for the weekend and finally got to go hang out with Emily and Alex for a while. They're digging their married life and both were off work tonight. Emily is truly my bestest friend. We're practically opposites, but the bond there is crazy. We used to tell people we were twins. She's weird, but I love her, ha.

Date Night

Zac took me (and the Bean) on a date tonight. We went to Italian Pie and filled up on pizza and pasta. So good.

Family Gathering

We went to my Aunt Trish's house in Mississippi for a family get-together. She's trying to start a new tradition to get family together more often than just Christmas time. It was nice seeing everyone and Jac played with all the cousins. He's going to stay with my parents for a few days so Zac and I can start getting things ready for when Bean arrives. We're also looking into getting our own place since we won't have enough room in the guest house. I've been feeling exhausted, so it'll be nice to sleep.

On our way back home, Zac and I stopped in Hammond to visit Kenny and his girlfriend, Karin. I went through some of my old boxes I left from when we used to live there and need to wash a few things. Most of my boxes have been invaded by mice, so I can't salvage anything. Oh well. We left for Covington to meet up with Sean and Kyle at the movies to see Bedtime Stories. Adam Sandler movies just aren't as good anymore. I miss the ones like Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer.

Mall with Jac

I spent all day with Jac. We went to the mall and picked out some toys from KB Toys since they're going out of business. He made wishes in the fountain and we had some Chick Fil A before heading home for naps. 

Ihop & family

We went to Ihop for breakfast this morning. Jac loves pancakes (and lemons, apparently) as much as I love coffee. Afterward, we met up with Kenny and his lady friend, Karen... though I think she spells it Karin? She's so sweet. This was the first time for Kenny to meet Jac since he's usually working all the time. Jac was shy, but eventually warmed up to him.
