Vow Renewal

My parents renewed their vows this past Sunday. It was really sweet. They've been married 30 years.

I had to take Leah to the E.R. because Jac convinced her to jump off the bed, which resulted in a bloody nose. Nothing was broken, thankfully. Sometimes I don't know what gets into kids.

We found a playground behind the library, so we're going to start biking there often.

I finished reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, which was interesting, but a little hard to follow in places.

Random Update

I was coming home from work the other night and saw this cool cicada, freshly transformed from it's creepy crawly self.

Zac and I took advantage of the pleasant weather and went for a bike ride with the kids. I'd love to buy a basket for the front of my bike so we can tote water bottles and snacks for our longer rides.

The kids (and Zac) helped create a homemade Father's Day gift with hand prints. It was a lot of fun, though not so much a surprise as Zac had to lend a hand (har har).

Sushi

We're back from our trip to Louisiana and I cleaned out our refrigerator. I was unaware that pineapple juice could transform into pineapple yogurt. Ick!

Sean took us to the best sushi buffet ever at a place called Miyagi's Sushi Buffet & Grill in Slidell. I almost died, it was so good. I could eat there every day. No joke.
