Easter Bunny Pic

Zac and I took Jac to the mall to get his picture taken with the Easter Bunny. He doesn't really like sitting in the lap of a giant stuffed bunny, but he behaved. The picture looks better than he felt, I'm sure... He was smiling politely while trying to escape. He received a coloring book and a cookie for his good behavior, though.

Great-aunt

I'm a great-aunt again. Krystal is a proud mama to baby girl, Kayden. She looks just like Krystal's newborn photo.

Park Day

 Zac and I took Jac to the park today. We've been feeling cooped up and it was so nice outside. He had such a fun time in the swings.

Ducks

We went to the pond to feed the ducks this afternoon, which was fun. Jac was chasing them and throwing bread at all of them. He loved the baby ducks the most. The pond is so close to Mom's house. We're definitely going to make this a regular thing.

J's first movie

Zac and I took Jac to see his very first movie, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. He was so good!! Not a peep or anything. He just sat there with his popcorn and watched the movie like a big kid. When the movie was over, he just kept talking about all his favorite scenes and named a few characters. He's growing up so fast.

New Year's 2008

We watched fireworks last night from Mawmaw's driveway. It was cold, but Zac and Jac were snuggled up close. Sean invited us over before we headed back to Mississippi. We hung out for a while and washed our laundry (thanks, Sean) and then headed home. I haven't unpacked yet, but at least all of our laundry is clean.

Christmas 2007

It's Christmas week!

Zac and I have been in Slidell since last Saturday. We got lucky and were able to spend a good while here to see everyone. It's been awesome. Marie kept Jac for a while so we could go see Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street. It was so good! We brought Jac to look at Christmas lights in Olde Town, but couldn't stay long since he started shivering. Poor baby ended up getting a cold. He's feeling better now. We opened gifts at Mawmaw's on Christmas Eve. Jac absolutely loves his dinosaurs and books. OH! I got my septum pierced. It hurt a bit, but not too bad. Just sore now.

Jena introduced us to her boyfriend, Quinn. We met up at Outback and they gave Jac a cute little plush barn with some little rattling animals in it. Quinn seems sweet and funny and Jena is happy. We also squeezed in a visit with Kyle. Jac had a blast chasing his cat, Cash, back and forth in the hallway.

Kid Pics

Well, it has been a day. Zac and I had to meet Karen and Meredith and Rachel at Walmart to get a group picture taken of all the kids. It took forever. My boy is so freaking cute, though. He was well-behaved as far as sitting still goes. I'm so proud of him. I hope I'm not required to participate in this annually. Getting six kids to sit still and look in the same direction without crying is impossible.

Early Christmas 2007

We celebrated Christmas early since Zac and I will be out of town, plus most of the family came by. It was fun seeing all the nieces and nephews.
