Kite-Flying

It's been super windy today, so Zac bought a kite. We found a spot at the nearby duck pond and decided to fly a kite all day. Jac had only one tantrum because he couldn't get the kite to lift-off, but enjoyed the ducks. Also, I had no idea I captured a picture of a nest full of duck eggs until I went through them at home. Cool, right?

New Phone

I finally got a new phone and it's pretty nifty. It's a Keyocera Strobe. It flips up and I can use a QWERTY keyboard. The pics are a little bit grainy, but I still dig it.

Playtime

We left Jac with Marie so he could play with Francesca while Zac and I grabbed some food together. I like he's got a cousin his age. Mine were either too old or too young. I'd say it's TMI, but it's my blog so whatever, but I've been thinking about another baby lately. Nothing set to make an actual decision, but the daydream is there. He'd make a good big brother.

Mawmaw's House

Zac and I made a trip to Louisiana to hang out with Mawmaw for a bit and talk about moving in with her for a while. Her guest house is empty and Sean is trying to get Zac a job so they can work together. Mawmaw is on board with us moving in, so we're going to try to get that going.

Mall Train

We went and hung out at the mall this afternoon. They had a train set up and Jac wanted to ride it so bad. Bonus: no line. He was the only one, ha.

Haircut

I was able to get Jac to hold still and I got his haircut fixed up. He looks so big all of a sudden. Not so much like a baby.

Easter 2008

I was hired at Target about two weeks ago. I honestly hate it, but it's a job. My orientation took about four hours and my back has basically felt broken every day. I bought new shoes, but they didn't help. I'm also kept past my scheduled time every night, which I don't think is fair. I was scheduled til 9, but didn't get home til after 1am because I had to help clean up every other department, yet the cashiers can leave on time. Grr.

The Easter Bunny hid some eggs for Jac this afternoon. It was fun, I guess because this year he's walking and able to enjoy it. He kept pointing to the eggs and calling them by their colors. Dude can eat a handful of gummy bears in three seconds... Yikes.

Snow?

IT'S SNOWING. Right now.

Jac was too cold and Zoey would have no part of it, so I wandered around and took some pictures for the blog. You're welcome.

Easter Bunny Pic

Zac and I took Jac to the mall to get his picture taken with the Easter Bunny. He doesn't really like sitting in the lap of a giant stuffed bunny, but he behaved. The picture looks better than he felt, I'm sure... He was smiling politely while trying to escape. He received a coloring book and a cookie for his good behavior, though.
