Zac and I went for a walk today and saw a ton of mushrooms. It was like a faery garden.

New Frames
Jac got some new frames today since baby bro broke his other pair... I'm hoping the break-everything phase is outgrown soon. Jac picked some blue ones this time and they got his eyes all sparkly.

Leah is THIRTEEN!
My LuluLadybug is officially a teenager! THIRTEEN years old, omg.
It rained today, but we went to Sal & Mookies for pizza and ice cream. We were going to go for Jac's birthday but it was crowded and stormy. However, today it was super slow, so not a lot of people around and we were able to eat in the outdoor area. I bought cookie cake supplies and made the cake with almond flour, but it fucked up super badly, so I went back out for gluten free flour, remade the cake and it turned out better.
We got her a pinata this year because I remembered that Jac had pinatas when he was little and she never did, so it's a new tradition we're doing. Jac was a little sad he didn't get one, but I told him next year definitely.

Louisiana Trip
We made a trip out to Louisiana so I could try on bridesmaid dresses with Jessie. We stayed with Chrissy and Steve, which was super fun. Steve taught us (and the big kids) how to play pool. I showed the kids my impressive high school fooseball skills, and Steve let the kids take turns riding and driving (omg) the lawn mower. They had a blast. Good memories. It was super fun to hang out with them, listening to 80s rock, and just relaxing. I definitely need a hammock in my life.
Trying on bridesmaid dresses was kinda fun. I met the other bridemaids and got to hang out with Jessie for a little while. The dresses are beautiful. And Natalie snuck a kitten in her pocket, so I got some floof snuggles.

Jac is 16!
My first baby is officially 16 years old! How? He's taller than me now, sarcastic, funny, smart, weird, etc. I love him. He's been into designing his own video game for the past year, which has been impressive. Super proud of this kiddo.

Tubes and Junk
So it's been something of an eventful week. I finally set up an appointment to get a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and and went in today for the procedure. They put me to sleep, which was great. I believe I woke up at one point but I'm still not sure if I dreamed it. So far, I feel fine, just super groggy and am getting random pains here and there. I was told it's normal since there are air pockets floating around from the tubes. It was honestly the best sleep I've ever had.
Meanwhile, Elias had to be brought to the ER the other day after getting bounced too high on the trampoline (AGAIN). He wouldn't walk on his left leg, so he had some X-rays done. Nothing is broken, so they diagnosed him with a pulled calf muscle. He's enjoying the attention very much. Cole has even decided it would be fun to realistically pretend he also has an injured leg. Thankfully, he's fine and I don't have to stress over him.
