A year in review: 2012
1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
Worked Black Friday, started homeschooling.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I did eat better and I spent more time with the kids. Gonna hold on to that one.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not this year.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
More hobbies.
7. What events from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory?
Jac had his tonsils removed, we went to Florida. I learned to play the ukulele.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting through Black Friday overnight.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not taking Jac out of public school sooner.
10. Did you suffer an illness or injury?
I cracked a filling and had to get it replaced.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A curriculum.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Jac for being so brave during his surgery.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My nephews.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bath & Body Works, Christmas, food.
15. What did you get really excited about?
The beach.
16. What song will always remind you of 2012?
That Taylor Swift We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together because I heard it like a billion times at work.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
-Happier or sadder? Happier, I think.
-Thinner or fatter? Fatter.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Work out.

Eat junk.
20. How did you spent Christmas?
With the flu! But we did manage to visit Zac's family and some friends.

With food, ha.

New Girl, Once Upon A Time, The Office, House, Dexter, True Blood, Weeds.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
The bullies on the bus and in the classroom and the teachers who sit back and do nothing.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
25. What was your favorite musical discovery?
I like Katy Perry right now.
26. What did you want and get?
Sushi.
27. What did you want and not get?
A flu-free Christmas.

Brave, Hunger Games, Dark Knight.
29. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
I worked. 29.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Not getting sick. Jac spending so much time missing school from his tonsils.

Jeans? I dunno. Comfy.

Hanging out with Emily, smelling candles.

"Legitimate rape"... Yeah.

My friends in Louisiana.

New co-workers.

Don't work in retail during Black Friday.
