This week.

Yesterday, I went to the doctor to see about the pains I'm still having around the area of my gallbladder. Katie suggested I may be dehydrated or have a gluten sensitivity, so I gave up bread on Thursday and started drinking water. A LOT of water. One of my least favorite bits of pregnancy was how often I was going to the bathroom, yet here we go again, except no baby on board. I went to my appointment for 3:30 and sat in the waiting room with a mask on until 5pm. I FINALLY got back to the room and talked over my symptoms. Just one. I have an occasional pinching sensation in my right upper abdomen. There's no nausea, no severe pain, no bleeding, no puking, etc. Just this pinching that's a 2 or 3 on a pain scale of 1-10. The nurse suggested I could have a gluten sensitivity, so to stay away from gluten (my favorite thing) for a while. That's two people who suggested it. As I've been gluten-free for nearly a week, I've definitely noticed the belly bloating is gone. I'm even back down to 135. So I pay $50 for a shrug and go home. I'm just aggravated. Even with him pressing and poking through my belly, there was zero pain spots. Nothing felt off to him, nothing felt swollen.  Grr. I didn't get out of there til after 5:30, so I wasn't able to get the big kids' glasses.

Today, Zac had to get up super early to take Mom to the airport for her Texas trip. He was able to come home for lunch and stay with the kids so I could go to my dental appointment for 11:30 and get my permanent crown placed on my tooth. Luckily, it wasn't scary and my bite feels normal. After the dentist, I came home to relieve Zac so he could go back to work. At 3, I brought all the kids with me to bring Cole to his wellness appointment. He had his last vaccination until 2022, but OMG he freaked out when they tried to weigh and measure him, freaked out when Dr. Y tried to examine him, and freaked out when the nurse walked in. My poor bear. He's healthy though, a little tiny for his age, but so were the rest of my kids. We don't go back until November.

After the wellness check, I brought us to pick up Jac's and Leah's new eyeglasses. They look super adorable and hopefully help improve Jac's mild headaches and Leah's focus.
