Mom turned 64 today. She invited us over to her house for Chinese food and Rachel bought a cheesecake. I brought over the boxes from Granny that I'd sorted through and helped her organize some drawers and cabinets. She has a tendency to hold on to a lot of items she doesn't need or isn't using. We (I) made a bit of progress, but there's more to be done.
I baked a cake for her birthday, but since Rachel bought a cheesecake and Mom needed to go out anyway, she came to our house for the cake and a short visit.
It's also Katie's birthday, but I don't think she reads blogs anymore, ha.
