Dose 1

Zac and I got our first vaccine dose today. So far, no side effects to report aside from a sore arm. My anxiety levels are lower and it's the first step in the right direction. We'll go back in a few weeks for the second dose.

Vet

I had to take Ruby to the vet today because she's been drooling profusely and not eating. All her bloodwork came back normal, so she's got an anti-nausea medication for an upset stomach and an antibiotic, just in case. She was the only dog in the whole facility that kept barking at every dog, cat, and human. It's embarrassing. I'm glad she's okay, though. Still sassy as ever.

Milkshakes

We took the kiddos to The Yard for milkshakes this afternoon. Figured we'd splurge and let them have a fun treat like we used to do. The only one that finished his whole shake was Jac, unsurprisingly, haha. I'm bummed I can only stick with the gluten-free Fruity Pebbles flavor, but it doesn't disappoint.

St. Patrick's Day 2021

We're all bummed we couldn't go to a parade, yet again. Maybe next year? We'll see. The Leprechaun dropped off some chocolate coins and lucky socks. The big two stayed up late, so they're obviously still tired in the picture, ha. Pandemic life, amirite?

Date Night

Mom is settled in her new house. She invited us to leave the kiddos over night, so of course, we took advantage and had ourselves a date. It was eerie but so fun. We found it amusing how time slows down when the kids are away. We managed to get some errands done and clean the house a bit, even remove a shelf in the laundry room, before 3pm. Hopefully we'll get some more time like this. I've missed the one-on-one. Zac took me to The Yard, a milkshake bar that's been open about a year now, but we just haven't had a chance to try it out. I also bought some new bras from Victoria's Secret, got some Bath & Body Works stuff, and bought new jeans at Target. I've lost some weight since the pandemic began, so new clothes were a must.
