Fairgrounds and freedom

My classes have been keeping me busy and being a mom has been keeping me busy. I just don't have time to be on the computer anymore, or for more than a few minutes. I mean, I don't mind, but I like taking Life Notes, just in case.

I quit Hollywood Video. A new manager was hired and he was absolutely terrible at his job. He would leave the building and not answer his phone, he was disrespectful to the employees, and didn't know how to handle any problems the customers had. He hired a bunch of new people and started promoting them over me. One older employee, who had no idea what she was doing, kept bossing me around with the attitude of I-can-do-what-I-want-but-they-won't-fire-me-because-I'm-a-minority-and-a-lesbian. I requested tonight off and it was approved last week, but was put on the schedule anyway with a shrug and "oh well" so I ditched work and went to the Mississippi State Fair. At least I didn't set the building on fire... right? The fair was fun, though. And Zac took me to Outback for dinner.
