Today is my parents' 27th anniversary, so Zac and I took a trip to Louisiana. We spent most of the vacation visiting our friends.
First stop on Monday: Cindy. She just bought a new house in the city and it's so adorable and cozy. Our kids played together and we finally got pictures of all of them. Jac missed his buddy, Miles, and Leah made friends with Evelyn. Cindy had to leave for work so we headed over to Jessie's.
Next stop: Jessie's.
Orrin is SUCH a cutie! Jessie's sister, Lyndsay, came over to visit and we went out to lunch. Jessie gave us a 36-gallon fish tank and gave me a TON of yarn, so we've got hopes for tropical fish and homemade things.
After Jessie's, we stopped by the cemetery to visit Zac's mom's grave. She died when he was a toddler.
Yesterday, we visited Mawmaw. Marie and Francesca came over and Mawmaw gave me her famous red beans and rice recipe. So yum! Mawmaw has been taking care of Amber for us. I do miss her.
Jac spent the night at Marie's last night. It was weird just having only Leah, but I know he had a blast with Francesca. We picked Kyle up and all of us slept at Sean's. Kyle bought us French Vanilla Kahlua! It's delicious. Zac even made brownies.
This morning, we picked Jac up and went to Chuck E. Cheese to meet up with Jenny and Reid. Our babies ran around like maniacs! I've missed Jenny so, so much. It was so awesome to get to see her again! We pooled all the tickets we won so we could get the kiddos things. For dessert, we went to the snoball stand.
